Alexander Pancoe is attempting to fulfill a lifelong goal by climbing the Seven Summits, the highest mountains on each of the world's seven continents, an extreme & dangerous mountaineering challenge that only a few hundred people have ever accomplished. After climbing the Seven Summits, Alexander will ski to both the North and South Pole, thus completing the elusive & deadly Explorer's Grand Slam -- a feat that has only ever been accomplished by ~ 60 people. It all begins in November of 2016 and the ultimate goal is to raise a million dollars. Every dollar will be directed to the pediatric neurology program at Lurie Children's, the hospital that gave him the ultimate gift of 'peace of mind' in 2005.

The pediatric neurology program at Lurie Children's relies on philanthropic support to fulfill its lifesaving mission. With your support, more children will have the opportunity to reach their greatest potential. All donations are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged by Lurie Children's Foundation. Any amount at all makes a difference!

The Seven Summits are the seven highest mountains of the world's seven continents, an epic mountaineering adventure of challenge, perseverance, and excitement. Only a few hundred people have achieved the Seven Summits, the ultimate mountaineering challenge which pushes climbers to the limit mentally and physically, and is the very definition of perseverance. Each mountain presents its own unique and dangerous - sometimes deadly - challenges.
